This same dealer also has items from other players, including Clowney and...gasp...Braxton Miller. Doesn't mean anything of course, at least yet. He also has Taylor Lewan stuff. The Clowney stuf is what really caught my eye. That's quite a bit of stuff. Not just 4 pieces like Lewan and Miller.

I'm definitely am biased as an OSU fan, I recognize that. But I don't think having 4 items necessarily shows anything.

If it was a larger number, then you'd have an argument.

But if there is other evidence to suggest Braxton did something like Manziel, then he's an idiot as well.

If I was a school's compliance department at this point I would be saying to players, if it's not a little kid or for a charity that the school has approved, don't sign anything.

I've seen talk that there are as many if not more Clowney items than Manziel items. But that could be people talking out of their ass. I haven't gone looking myself.

But I would like to see some facts in real reports, not just people slinging shit around.

I did a google search and came across a few reports, but nothing from a major sports news source:

I went back to the verification search and discovered a much larger sequence from I65152 - I65409 of 258 consecutive Clowney autographed items. The sellersportsagent2be has active listings for 9 of these items and completed listings for 33.
So from one seller, and the first one I looked at mind you, we have 17 active listings and 47 completed listings in the past 90 days for items autographed by Jadeveon Clowney that appear in large consecutive sequences in the JSA Certificate system.

COLUMBUS — Ohio State has cleared Braxton Miller of breaking any NCAA rules after memorabilia autographed by the star quarterback appeared on an auction website, a school spokesman said today.
Three footballs and a mini-helmet signed by Miller were being hawked on eBay by a seller who also has several items from Johnny Manziel — the Heisman-winning quarterback at Texas A&M reportedly under investigation for profiting from his autographs. ESPN reported Manziel accepted a "five-figure flat fee" from a broker in exchange for a signing session in January.
An OSU school official said there is "no issue," noting Miller signed the memorabilia in an autograph session for fans at the Big Ten kickoff luncheon last month in Chicago.
Per the NCAA’s bylaws on amateurism, a player can not make money off their autographs or likeness

Why? You don't like watching good players play? What about the OBC? What has he done or won lately for you to want him to go down? You may not like him for whatever reason but he is endless entertainment and tells it like it is.
