We are headed to Central Ohio in a couple of weeks. As part of our trip, we would like to take a few days to stay at a state park to do some hiking, explore the area, etc. One of our priorities is for there to be a nice, clean lake for some swimming. Beyond that, the part of the state doesn't matter that much, as we can usually find plenty of things to do an see. Any suggestions?

Kiser Lake in St Paris isn't exactly clear (green algae) and may be too far West. It does not allow motorized boats. Nice smaller beach with a few miles of trails.
No clue about what's considered a clear and clean state park lake around central Ohio.

Burr Oak lake in SEO is really nice with LOTS of trails and doesn't get a lot of pressure from people

The water's okay as long as you're not touching the bottom. Also, a lot of the people are bumpkins.dlazz;1472481 wrote:Buckeye Lake
