I was watching this match; it was interesting, but tennis will just never get me excited as far as sporting events go.

Good for Murray though.

I'm probably in the minority here but I was on the edge of my seat watching this. Djokovic made a lot of mistakes today, Murray played brilliantly

I'm the exact opposite..I think Joker is all class and a cool dude. Murray whines and bitches 100% of the time..can't stand him, but was definitely happy a Brit won at Wimbledon.

Novak definitely was not on his A game today. Didn't control the points the way he normally does. I think he was a bit fatigued from his 5 setter previous match.

Murray play outstanding. Best I've ever seen him play

Honest question, did you follow tennis/Djokovic about 10 years ago when he was up and coming?

He was 10x worse than Murray ever was/is. He is class now, cause he learned from Fed and Rafa...who have always been class. But Djokovic was a big time bitch in his younger days.

I distinctly remember a fake injury in a match with Rodick. I though Andy was gonna kill him from the other side of the net lol

He also used to cry when he played poorly and throw his raquet a bit.

I give him credit for growing up, he is all class now. But he was a bitch, and ripped players in post game interviews before. Murray has never done anything like that, to my knowledge.

Well the point is he changed..just saying in the last few years of watching Murray, he literally complains about everything. Don't remember seeing that from Djokovic, so I like him. Just because he did it 10 years ago that's supposed to make me hate him now?

Oddly enough, federer used to have an awful temper. Smash racquets and lots yelling and cursing. Its weird basically seeing the definition of class and thinking he used to be a giant dick

You just said you were the opposite, so I provided example(s) of him not being the opposite. Just matured.

I hate him because of that in the past. It went on for like 3 years and it didnt help it was mostly geared towards my favorite player (Roddick)...so I wont ever like him.

I have no issue with someone else liking him cause like I said, I give him credit for maturing.

I remember the raquets and temper. But I will never hate on a guy for being heated as long as he takes it out on himself and not the opponent. Like McEnroe/Roddick etc.

If he's right now not a dick, then he's still the opposite of Murray...not really sure what we're arguing here.

Right at this moment they are opposite I guess. But in their career they are not. Novak is much worse. Thats all.

And Murray is not a dick. He whines. Novak was a dick to his peers...and took his "gamesmanship" too far with injures often.

Federer is my favorite current player. I didn't really care for him too much until I seen him play in person in Cincinnati. The ease of which he plays the game is just astonishing it literally looks like it could be taking a nap on the court on changeovers he is so relaxed

Smoothest player I have ever seen. Its remarkable.

At one point, and for a long stretch, he was the best at virtually every aspect of the game.

Yea, unless joker somehow wins more majors than fed, federer is the best of all time in my eyes. Best grass court player of all time, 2nd-3rd best clay courter of all time, best hard court player of all time.

His record is so askew against nadal because federer made it to so many finals on clay. Nadal is the best clay courter of all time and just simply better than federer on clay. On other surfaces I'll take federer all day. If nadal made it deeper into other hard court and grass tournaments and played federer on those surfaces more I think federer would have way more wins.

You seem pretty connected to the sport, so I'd like to ask you- how do you think Federer compares with Sampras? I don't follow it close enough to make a knowledgeable comparison, but I do remember Pete being nearly unbeatable, especially in his prime.
