I'm good until they start showing the little kids. Then they always get to me.

The kids who are emotionally overwhelmed kills me.
Makes me wonder how our daughter will do when my wife deploys and her reaction to seeing mommy again.

Being stationed away from my wife and daughter for almost a year now makes this hard for me to watch. However, I am extremely happy for every family I watched in that video.

Btw, I cried almost all of the way through it.

Havent watched this one yet but will soon.

Those are always great videos to watch.

Almost as sad though was on memorial day this year. A local place was honoring a wife and daughters for their husbands current service....they had seen so many of these they expected this to be one of them too.

And it wasnt. The kids were pretty devastated.

But anyways...

Can't take these. I weep like a baby. Trouble breathing, head starts hitting, tears take a while to stop even after it's over.

"Taking Chance"
"We Were Soldiers"

Two movies that are dramatic in their portrayal of our servicemen and women. Two thumbs to ESPN for giving an excellent peak inside these families celebration.

I have yet to watch it, but will later. (when others won't see me tear up)

I remember arriving at the Airport is St Louis after spending 371 days in South Korea back in 1988. I saw my 22 month old Daughter sitting in the window as the plane taxied in. When I got off the plane and picked her up in my arms, she put her hands on each of my cheeks, looked me in the eyes and said "My Daddy". I'll never forget that moment.

Had nothing to do with sports.

Hope this helps.

I'd rather watch endless coverage about Aaron Herndandez and the Miami Heat.

But LeBron won his 2nd title, are the Miami Heat a dynasty?

ESPN isn't only sports. It also covers Entertainment.

Hope this helps too.

Just like MTV covers Music.
