Should I just stop trying to enforce the personal attack/trolling rules?

All that ends up happening each time is like_that, coa, sportandlady and a couple others raising a huge fucking stink every time and paint this image that I'm going outside the bound of the rules.

And if you guys think I am then I probably am. I'm not trying to ruin this site, just trying to do the rules as they are.

Generally if I don't do something, no one else does and things just continue to escalate to the point that we have a discussion in the moderator forum about how things are getting out of hand yet again.

I'm honestly at a loss for what should be done at this point. And I only am a moderator as I want to help the site, but if what I am doing is truly a negative then I have no problem stopping and only doing things like unapproving spam and permanent banning spam accounts.

This isn't meant to be a woe is me thread. I am genuinely trying to figure out what the course of action should be regarding moderation (even if the new course is back to how it was in the beginning with very little moderation).

I think moderation is really hard this time of year, cause most of us aren't on here much, and it's easy to miss whole threads of BS, then when you try to mod one thread they think since they got away shit that was missed, that they should always get away with it.

I say fuck em. I agree with most of your modding. Coa and like that would have been banned from any other site I am on long ago

This. And I agree with se too, between it being summer, work, and my wedding I haven't been around as much to help. Otherwise I'd be pushing even harder than I already am for those assholes to be permabanned
