Have you exceeded the character limit in a post?

I just ended up writing a stupidly long post that was a semi-rant on the constant over simplification of big government debate, which really doesn't even exist anymore. And when I tried to post it, it said I exceeded the limit, I hope I'm not the first to do this, and if anyone else ever has it'd be you.
