Three years ago on Fathers Day my dad, begrudgingly, agreed to go golfing w/ my brother and I. He had never golfed and never cared to. He's been hooked since that day, so we now go golfing every Fathers Day. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate, so we'll probably just hang out tomorrow, and get some golf in later this week.

I am 600 miles away from my wife and daughter, so i'll be doing what I do every weekend...spend it by myself.

I'll visit his grave and then continue to be the father to my kids as he was to me and my siblings. This is the best way I know how to honor his memory.

Unfortunately wont be able to see my dad today. We will probably go golfing and grill out next weekend, though.
