NFL will only allow clear bags to be taken into games next year. Probably not a bad idea though.

Getting the patdown at games has been a regular thing for a number of years. We always joked it was to catch people bringing in alcohol so you had to know where to hide it.

Wonder if MLB will follow suit. I know at reds games they allow a decent sized bag/soft cooler to be brought in. Because we are poor (thought I would say it before sleeper did) we usually bring a bag of some drinks and snacks to reds games because they rape you with concessions at the games...unless ya go all the way tot the dollar hot dog/pop stand at GABP. When you are bringing the family it can be extremely expensive to attend a MLB games because ya know the kids will want something to eat, and to be honest, as an adult, I do to when I go even if we eat before/after and bring snacks.

But anyways........

I agree. Only poor people are Reds fans.
