LJ, are those pictures of property that you are going to repair, since you're an expert carpenter?
(that was a joke, F4F)

So now they can get away with being assholes by adding a (just kidding) to their comments?

I think we should just keep going ahead with thread banning, not sure if we've been on with that the past 2 weeks or so, and if people like etb dont' get the hint, then basement ban for appropriate length. But saying "j/k" doesn't mean it's not the behavior of constant harassment that we're trying to stop.
And by "we should just keep going ahead with thread banning" I mean other people need to do it with me or they'll just throw a fit and think it's me taking over the site.

I'll do it in this instance if nobody else wants to (or already has).

Does it send a notice now when we thread ban? I feel like we talked about this, but I don't remember.Fly4Fun;1458172 wrote:I think we should just keep going ahead with thread banning, not sure if we've been on with that the past 2 weeks or so, and if people like etb dont' get the hint, then basement ban for appropriate length. Nah, the person's posts in the thread get a red banner at the top instead of blue for us to see. But you would have to manually send a PM for them to notice assuming they don't revisit the thread.ts1227;1458248 wrote:Does it send a notice now when we thread ban? Ive been thread banning a bit. Often times I get into a thread wayyyyy to late though and thread banning would serve less purpose than closing the whole thread.
But I agree, it was working pretty well about a month or so ago when we were doing it more often.
