From Quakeroats article "However, Chief Charles Hurley of the Miami-Dade School Police Department (MDSPD) in 2010 had implemented a policy that reduced the number of criiminal reports, manipulating statistics to create the appearance of a reduction in crime within the school system". Clearly the problem. Our dumbass government and the dumbass constituents want to act like a problem doesn't exist. Black/white rich/poor, regardless there is a problem. The sooner everyone recognizes it and tries fixing it rather than one size fits all, the sooner maybe out country accomplishes something in the education realm. Throwing money at shitty schools (due to children present/lack of parenting) is not the answer.

The family Zimmerman "rescued" have decided they don't want to be associated with him.

I guess Zimmerman will have to go troll for more supportive people to rescue.

Agreed, IMO we have enough attention seekers that we shouldn't judge people for simply wanting to be left alone. Perhaps they have thanked GZ privately and just don't want the media coverage. That seems fair.

At this point our officials need to be a bit more vocal - not to take this to the politics board but they had no problem voicing their opinion prior to the jury's decision. Now that it is over they need to tell people to stop being stupid, and there are plenty of those that continue to be stupid.

If my family was the one in question I wouldn't want to be public either. There are too many nutcases, unfortunately ginned up by some of said officials and the media, that aren't rational and might cause harm on us.

Correct. For what it's worth, the stink is that they refused to do what basically amounted to a PR appearance for Zimmerman. I don't really blame them one bit.

The stink is that many people in this country (including many politicians) went bat$&%^ insane in the first place over a non-crime, when there are plenty of crimes to be upset about.

Hell, Obama already made a statement about it AFTER the verdict came out...although it was a statement that more than likely egged on, even further, these idiots who are still upset w/ the verdict.

Similar case, only black dude killed a white kid, who never even actually touched him. No protests, no riots, no media backlash, no nothing. So stfu black people. You made it a race thing, and is the reason race relations will never be ok in this country, because anytime anything "bad" happens it turns into a circus, solely based on race.

wait. did you just blame racism on blacks? blacks didnt make this anything mofo....we dont own any tvs stations, newspapers , magazines or radio stations. all of those are owned by whites. and stop whining like whites are always the victims. what are some of these "bad" things that get turned into race by blacks anyway?

I didn't blame racism on blacks. I blamed it not getting better because they so blatantly care about their own race more than humans in general. This case is a prime example, that based on no evidence, blacks came together in support bc if it being a black male. And it isn't a fringe group of them, it is a lot. And bad things meaning this case, And any other similar, like Rodney king or anything else like it. And I'm not whining, I'm not a victim of anything, I'm annoyed that at the reaction black people took in this case. It had 0 to do about race and shoulda been an article I a newspaper, now it's still talked about daily for no reason, when there are similar injustices/ deaths all the time.

lots of whites feel the same way...as far as rodney king..how were they supposed to feel? plenty of stuff goes on everyday that doesnt get put on tape or noone ever hears about where blacks are actually harassed maybe thats why. you actually dont know anything about what its like so maybe you shouldnt judge because its really not as simple as you try to portray it.

You're just proving Gblocks point. What media outlets are talking about this incessantly? You see groups of blacks that they put on the media that cry about race continually and you say STFU black people? That is absolutely ridiculous to say the least.
