I have never had a problem with the norms like mice, spiders, and snakes. I was always scared of geese for some reason. Ducks never bugged me so its kinda a weird phobia.

I don't really like Birds in general, I think I watched the Movie Birds when I was too young. I always skip over the aviary at the Zoo while my wife and kids go in there lol. A Bird I would never be caught dead around is an Ostrich. Those things are creepy as hell

Spiders and Wednesday.

My baby sitter growing up was bitten by a Brown Recluse and almost had to have her leg amputated. Been scared of spiders ever since. Didn't help in college I woke up while dozing off to sleep to find a wolf spider half in my mouth. Yeah they can GFT.

Being at a local bar/movie theater/restaurant/etc. and getting shot up by some jackass who hates life. Basically like the dark knight shootings, VTech shotings, etc. If my life ends at wal mart cause some mexican is pissed at his hoe, I'm going to be pretty damn pissed at how my life ended.

I just did some reading on Wikipedia, and now consider myself an expert on them. Evidently, the Brown Recluse is fairly passive and only bites in rare occasions when they're suddenly thrust into human contact (most frequently, when people put on clothes they haven't worn in awhile). Even then, a bite doesn't always cause bad things to happen.

Seems to me like it's a freak occurrence to have an issue like your babysitter.
