The Ohio State University are looking to expand the Shoe by 2,500 seats in 2014. It will make The Shoe the 3rd largest stadium behind The Big House & Beaver Stadium.

I had heard rumors of expansion. I was hoping for dropping the field and adding more seating right on top of the field. But not surprised they are gonna fill in the empty space.

Yeah, there has been some scattered talk about expansion but nothing more than conjecture. I'm a little surprised they're only using up available space and not going for the record
