Hey, I'm moving from Seattle to Charlotte in early January and was wondering if there were any GOAT restaurants on my route? I found a burger place in Boise and fried chicken in Memphis, looking for some more. States I will be going thru are:

Idaho
Utah
Wyoming
Nebraska
Kansas
Missouri
Oklahoma
Arkansas
Mississippi
Alabama
Georgia

If you know of any, let me know, going to two places from Man Vs. Food. Thanks!

I would check out that show that airs all the time on Travel Channel.....Burger Paradise. It has all kinds of neat burger places that I would love to go to.

The Varsity - it's a hot dog place in Atlanta. I haven't been there, but have seen it on the Food Network.

+1

It has been a few years but I loved it. We went in and were not sure what to order, the guy behind the counter told us what to order and told us if we didn't like it we didn't have to pay for it. He was right on the money, everything he recommended was awesome.

This may sound crazy, but about 3 miles off of I-80 in rural Wyoming on exit 39 in a small town named Urie is possibly the greatest southern cooking of all time. It just opened in July, and in an area that prides itself on home cooking and has well under 5,000 people in a 40 mile radius, the place is packed every night of the week. The portion size is incredible and it is damn cheap. And most importantly, the taste is out of the world.

Any idea what it's called redfalcon, I looked up restaurants in Urie and am not sure? It's on my route, so I may have to stop there depending on what time I get to that area.

Well, I can't find it anywhere, but I trust you ;) I'll have internet access during the trip (phone and Clearwire), so shoot me your number in a private message around the 1st or so. Off to bed, then Ohio, Happy Holidays!

Sure thing. The restaurant is fairly new, and it doesn't come up properly in google quite yet.

Do you want places that serve Goat? I'm sure you can find some in Africa or South America.
