Drove through Kiser lake state park noticed the camp ground has a bunch of people with their tents set up. Many were huddling around a camp fire to stay warm.
Gonna be low 40's with scattered rain. Yea.....great idea going camping.
Would you go camping in this weather?

I hate campers. They are a big reason I don't play Call of Duty anymore.

Yes and have in worse weather. Mid 40's is perfect camping weather. I've always thought it was stupid when people go camping when it is stupid hot and sit around and complain how hot it is.

I have before in Utah. Was nice during the day, but was in the 40's when we woke in the morning. Also slept in a tent during a thunderstorm. Enough beers will make you sleep through anything.

Ok question for all you seasoned campers. I'm going to Bonnaroo next month and the camping space is small. It's June in Tenn so it's going to be hot so I'm going to need a tent and a shade structure. I have an ez up and a tent. If I put the tent so its halfway under the Ez Up will the rain coming off the edge of the ez up be enough to make my tent leak. Would I be better off laying a tarp over that part of the tent.

You know you play too much CoD when you thought this thread was going to be about CoD. #Guilty

First off, does your tent leak? Set it up in your yard and use a hose on it to find out. If it dont leak you have nothing to worry about. If it leaks you can always buy some spray water proofing that will help it out. You can also buy tent coverings that cover the tent like a tarp. A tarp will work but they are usually a lot heavier materials than the ten itself.sportchampps;1447631 wrote:Ok question for all you seasoned campers. Lots of people have to plan the weekends they can get away in advance. Unless the weather looks to be really bad, you go.
