I want to start planning a vacation next year. We're wanting an all-inclusive, and I've heard the Caribbean's offer some of the best values. Has anybody been to any resorts that they would strongly recommend? To be honest, we're not real picky where it's at. I just want nice weather, very good a la carte food, and probably premium alcohol because I won't do native beer. I'm a vacation virgin, so any recommendations would be great.

I've done Punta Cana through Apple Vacations and Negril, Jamaica.... but I can't remember the company we used.

Both were a great time and you can't beat it for the price.

I'm headed to Montego Bay in 2 weeks, also with Apple.
Staying here...

I prefer Jamaica over Punta Cana, because pot...but they were both awesome. Punta Cana had casinos if you're into that. Also, all of them had premium booze. Not sure about the "native" beer comment, I was crushing Presidente and Red Stripe with no issues. I believe "premium" refers to the liquor selection.
