Year after year the same thing happen, annuals, perennials, potting soil and hanging baskets are part of the beautician process. It seems I plant more perennial but the cost of beautification never decreases in cost.
This year excluding the mulch which will be next week purchase (21 yards) I have $800.00 into flower and such.

What the cost of your home beautification this year ?

Somewhere between $0 and $0 since flowers are pointless.

$0. Don't do flowers. I spend all my time in the backyard, where the dogs would just trample them, and I don't give a f*ck what the front of my house looks like.

$0. Live in an apartment.
Even if I lived in a house, still be $0 as flowers, and gardening to me seems pointless.
Rather spend time and money elsewhere.

Don't tell Belly you don't wash your car, otherwise he will bite your head off because you clearly don't take care of your things.

Maybe $100 at most. Get some Kentucky Bluegrass to overseed the lawn for thickness, put a new bag of fertilizer down every season, and then around a tree created a little flower bed and surrounded it this year with a bed of marigolds, a hot pepper plant, and two 2' cactus. Every year there are 4 Black Eyed Susans that keep coming back as well. Just trim back the bushes and rake up the mulch every year and it looks literally brand new. Only catch with the cactus is it needs to be covered nearly every time by a large bucket before the rains come in

We will buy about $100.00 to $150.00 in herbs and spices to grow. Our back yard is due North and has too many tress coving the remaining area. I still love my fresh herbs at any cost.

I look damn good, but don't really keep tabs on how much I spend on things like soap and shampoo.

As for my surroundings, whatever. My presence keeps it all looking fine.
