Whether one agrees with any of my stuff or not...all the regulars that take the time and put their thoughts on here....have a Merry Christmas.

It doesn't matter where all of you allign yourselves along the political spectrum, all of you love your country.

Peace and good will to everyone.

And hopefully, the New Year will provide opportunity, especially for those that have been hit hard by the ailing economy.

I think that the first step to understanding an issue is to listen to the other side. Speaking for myself, I know that I have learned things about the other arguments that have caused me to stop and think about where I am on an issue, and adjust my opinions based on new information. I still believe that all ultra-conservative, knee-jerk, reactionary, right wing nuts should be immediately committed to a maximum security mental facility, but that would mean that many in my family would be there also, so I'm for some limited amnesty for those that fit the afore-mentioned description. I'm kidding, of course, and I would like to add my Wish for a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year for every Huddler, regardless of their political preferences.

And it was a good Christmas, indeed!

I'm still full, slightly tipsy, and have acquired some very impressive gifts! lol
