Interesting. In a little side note on the slide show, only the Ohio State Buckeyes are top ten in both football and basketball.

Good list, but I figured ND would be #1.

Proof of so many fair weather fans/alumni/students. Only show up when the team is doing well. Reminds me of USC.devil1197 wrote: Florida made the list but its funny to see them not sell all of their tickets to the Sugar Bowl.

Good for you, but really, who cares about basketball? Basketball pulls in a fraction of what the football programs do at most schools. So, if we are talking about most valuable programs, what does basketball have to do with it and who gives a rats ass if OSU is in the top 10 of both lists..........idiot!:rolleyes:LTrain23 wrote:Quite a bit of people care about basketball... Again, your question is "who cares for college basketball" and my answer was "quite a bit of people do"..
What's so hard to understand? Just because it doesn't bring in the money that football does (stadium size?) doesn't mean much..
March Madness is one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year, probably right behind the Super Bowl.
I know you're a fan of soccer, so I'm not really understanding the bias coming from your "who cares" point of view.
It looks like BCSbunk just pointed out that OSU was the only school who was top ten in both. That may not mean nothing to you, but it is pretty solid that OSU is the ONLY school, out of hundreds for basketball D1 schools and around 120 FBS schools for football, to be in the top 10...

Since basketball is the second highest revenue to schools, it does have a smaller but relevant part of this discussion.rock_knutne wrote: who cares about basketball? It was interesting to see Texas A&M on there and not one ACC school.
