Despite being shutout in their last 17 innings, the Tribe are still red-hot. They head to Philly for a quick 2 game set of interleague play.

After theTribe beat the Phillies up in Cleveland, Philly will be looking for revenge.

Hopefully the offense returns, and fast.

2-1 tribe after a solo shot for Philly and a 2 RBI single by Brantley. Only bottom of 2nd.

A healthy Tribe line-up, where Brantley is batting 7th, is extremely dangerous.

We need Reynolds to swing the bat with confidence, unlike his previous two at-bats...and speaking of confidence, it appears Kazmir's really starting to gain his as the game progresses.

Reynolds ended up popping out, but I thought that should be a bloop double. The ball was in fair play when it hit the glove, imo, and I dont think you can say it would have landed foul with 100% confidence.

Kazmir not pitching bad, but seems to be getting frustrated. Has hit the same guy twice now.

Apparently it's a 3 game cold streak. Can't buy a hit. Lead off triple in the 8th and you get nada outta swisher, Reynolds, and Brantley. Gross.

Tribe breaking out a bit. Up 5-1 in the 5th. Good outing through 4 innings for Kluber so far. See if he can get a couple more in for a quality start.

Astros actually have a lead in Detroit. Would be a miracle if they could beat the Tigers once this year.

Yes it is. These stats are after last nights win. The Phillies improved to 12-4 when Pettibone, Kyle Kendrick or John Lannan start. They're 7-16 in games started by the $64.5 million trio of Cole Hamels, Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee.

Good job out of Kluber today. Pitched a solid game. Drew a walk and came around to score to help his own cause.
