Just this week they apparently decided to block the OC. Anybody have a way around this or am I just screwed?

if they blocked it your obviously being monitored on your work cpu and they obv dont want you on the OC because its serious business so why would you get a proxy to get around it and get fired?

We have a service that decides what web sites get blocked. It's possible the chatter just got added to their filter. It only filters port 80, so if the site has an SSL certificate we can get around it by using https.

I tried that, I got a connection refused error.

A web proxy would work, but he'd have to find one that isn't already blocked

Ah, I didn't mean to imply using https would get around the chatter being blocked. Only that the people who setup our firewall didn't bother to block it so anything with SSL isn't really blocked here.
