Seems like it.

It's the only forum with decent discussion and the forum with the least amount of trolling.

College football forum is a joke

College basketball is good but there's not a lot of traffic

Serious Business forum is okay but there's usually a successful thread ratio of 1:5

The basement has thavoice and tiernan, yikes

I don't venture to high school forums because that'd be weird

Thoughts?

I rarely post in the pro sports forum, but I think that's because I mostly watch college sports. The college forums are pretty decent when their sports are in season. (there are posters who are thin skinned and a couple of trolls but they aren't too hard to ignore) Serious business is probably my favorite. Politics is entertaining. I do read the basement but everything there devolves pretty quickly. (I think they let Teirnan out, but sleeper is still there)

For me, this is just a slow time of year for sports.

The trolling on this site really limits it's full potential. It's quite sad, actually, because there seem to be quite a few knowledgeable people on here that are capable of holding quality discussions, but the handful of trolls always swoop in and derail many of the conversations.

College football is nice to read when it's in season. ND thumpers really make the place hard to read, though. They seem to forget that it's an Ohio message board and can't take any (deserved) criticism.

College basketball is the same as ND above, except with Duke fans. There is a shortage of threads about the "other" schools in Ohio besides OSU/MAC schools. UD, Xavier, Wright State typically get left out to dry.

Pro sports is hit or miss. I think the overzealous/delusional browns/bengals fans make it worse than it could be. I still don't understand why the MMA thread is over in SB and not there.

Pro Sports: GOAT forum on this site. It has the best thread (cleveland thread), which proves you do not need over regulation from trigger happy mods. Don't believe me? If you count all Cleveland threads, we have nearly (or even more) 1000 pages of posts. Pretty solid sample size if you ask me.

Serious Business: Some solid threads here, but then you also have fail threads from Auiota, ETB, Snot, etc. Then you have certain posters act like SMUG POS's, only to cry about it when they are called out for being smug. Lastly you have your certain posters who QQ, because somebody is busting their balls. Basically if you combined the traits of this forum and created a person, we all would want to punch him in the fucking face.

College football: 90% of it is Lotz being butt hurt.

College Bball: Don't post.

Basement: The basement is not what it used to be. That forum used to bring the lulz all the time. Now I believe too many people are afraid to go there and have their feelz hurt, and also nobody wants to read gibberish coming from skank, thavoice, tiernan, etc. You know you suck ass when you manage to make a basement thread suck.

Basement has def gone down hill. Fuckheads like skank have ruined what we built into a solid forum. I remember the survey days in that forum.

To answer the OP, there is basically like 3 good threads left on the forums. Catering to pussies has taken this site down hill.

Since the NFL & MLB are really the only two pro sports worth watching...No. the Serious Business & College Football forums blow it away.
