Since we cancelled directv we have been watching a lot of MeTV which show nothing but old tv shows.

My favorite show is The Rifleman. Chuck Connors is a boss. Before the show he played in the NBA and MLB.

Others shows I find funny, and generally better than most shit on tv today:

The Odd Couple
The Dick Van Dyke Show
The Twilight Zone
MASH
Hogan's Heroes
I Dream of Jeannie
Perry Mason
The Mary Tyler Moore Show

Also, Mary Tyler Moore was a babe.

I've been watching The Rifleman for a while now. Its on AMC every Saturday morning. I get up , feed the kid and have a cup of coffee while watching it. What's awesome too is that they didn't do that 13 episodes per year bull so there are something like 160 episodes for 6 year run

Without a doubt The Twilight Zone. That show is seriously unreal good as far as the stories go, if they had modern CGI it would be pretty beast

My dad would watch Andy Griffith reruns when I was growing up, so I have an affinity for that.

Hogan's Heroes is just such a classic. I think it speaks to the quality of humor to still be so funny all these years later. It's somewhat slapstick, but done very intelligently in a way few, if any, shows manage these days.

The Cosby Show, for me, will only grow in its greatness as the years pass. Fantastic stuff! Especially in the early 4 or 5 seasons. Even it fell victim to that late sitcom phenomenon.

You mean the introduction of the cute new kid? What was her name, Raven something or the other?

All sitcoms have a lifespan, they can either end in dignity (Cheers, Seinfeld although the last episode was awful) or they continue in mediocrity like The Office.

Exactly, MB. Leave the kid out of it. Jeesh. She seemed to come along right around the time Rudy had grew out of her "cuteness" stage, in order to capture that aspect. But to me, even as a young teen, it was awkward.
