Did I really see Melrose picked Minnesota vs NYR in the cup?
If Crosby is healthy, I don't see how Chicago AND Pittsburgh both miss the finals.
They were far and away the best two teams when everyone was healthy.

If true, he's a fucking idiot. Minnesota limped into the playoffs. They'll be lucky to win two games.chicago510;1436319 wrote:Did I really see Melrose picked Minnesota vs NYR in the cup?

New York I could see making a run...Lundqvist could get hot and take them pretty far, and they have offensive talent...but they're too inconsistent IMO.

I could definitely see NYR stealing this series.gorocks99;1436333 wrote:If true, he's a fucking idiot. Minnesota limped into the playoffs. They'll be lucky to win two games.

True, but this is the NHL, and if there's one thing I really love about their playoffs, it's that crazy stuff happens in the playoffs all the time. Was it last year or the year before when in the East, after one round, almost all the top four seeds were out?chicago510;1436319 wrote:Did I really see Melrose picked Minnesota vs NYR in the cup?

Got caught with the puck behind his own net, tried to pass it out, gave it right to a Blues player. Empty netter for the OT win

On a PP too right?
Just saw it. Wow. He needed to just shoot it around.

Boy Detroit laid a stinker last night. They just didn't look crisp, actually both teams were sloppy. Oh well if they can get a split tomorrow I'll be happy

Couple blow outs last night - great way to start the series. Bruins and Leafs are going to start dropping the gloves after a beating like that.

Guess they didn't need him, as they just dominated the Isles last night. Any news on Neal, since he left and didn't return?End of Line;1437027 wrote:Crosby out for game 1 tonight.

I wish the Caps and Rangers could both lose, can't stand either team. Red Wings pulled it out in OT but I still think they lose this series and nothing like seeing Montreal lose.

Can someone explain to me why he was ejected? The fucker who made the pass should be ejected for hanging his teammate out to dry. NHL is becoming like the NFL, you hit someone TOO hard you get the boot. I thought it was clean in real time, Gryba can't help being tall.
