What is your favorite gun that you have owned or shot?

My favorite one I have is a 20g browning o/u that I used for trap/skeet shooting when I was younger. I still use it if I go out trap shooting, but dont get out much since the one close to home has closed down. I had a single shot 12g that I used for turkey shoots that I just loved and won me a lot of stuff but it ended up getting stolen.

Favorite that I shot was probably the tommy gun. Shot one at a range a few weeks ago. I have shot some other full autos but for some reason this one just captivated me more than the others.

My first 12ga O/U. I miss the hell out of that gun. When I was 11 my dad bought me a used Ruger Red Label O/U with fixed chokes. I put about 150,000 rounds through it and then sold it to my uncle when I was 16 to buy a Browning Sporter Ultra Plus (which I still have). My uncle sold it to Aumiller in Westerville a few years later. I can only hope that a dad bought it for his son and made as many memories with it as I did.

My Remington 870 pump shotgun. It was a birthday present from my parents when I was 15 I believe. It is a great gun to hunt with and shoot clay pigeons as well.

I have an old single shot 12 guage that I won in a raffle. I've shot some "better" guns but I'm a much better shot and take my time when I know I only have one shot.

Mossberg 870 is the one I own. I like it.

A 1911 is my favorite to shoot. If I get a handgun, it will either be a 1911 or an M9.

I shot an M16 (I think) at FFA camp one summer. It was fully automatic, whatever it was.

My current arsenal is pretty shitty. A New England single shot 12g and a .22 rifle (can't remember mfgr). Still in the market for my first handgun (narrowed down to XDs, Glock 26, or M&P Shield, I think). I've also got parts on order to build an AR15. My billet lower with custom engraving should be ready by June. My order number was in the early 3000s and they are filling orders around 1500 currently.

Did you go to a gun shop to order your parts for the AR? I have an ar dpms panther and a custom ar 30-06 I had custom made a few years ago. I was thinking about having another custom done but not sure if I want to spend that money. I would like to have one more in a .308. I just sold a s&w mp 15-22 a few weeks ago.

Ordered online from shadow ops weaponry. They were a relatively new company but I thought I'd give them a shot since I could cancel at any time with a full refund. Now it's just a waiting game. Also got a free upgrade to billet and get a sweet deal on an upper to match.

At some point I have to figure out what to have engraved, though. That will take a while.

M-2 Browning .50 Cal Machine Gun. Chewed up a jeep with it on the range at Fort Benning, Georgia. M203 Grenade Launcher was fun too.

It was hilarious. I was at the indoor range at Black Wing in Delaware shooting my 1911, then I busted out the DE and fired off a shot. Every lane in the range stopped what they were doing to see "WTF was that!?!?" I literally scared the shit out of the lady in the lane next to me.

also has a double barrel shotgun...old one. Dont know the model but is was fun to blast shit.
I went to a friend's cabin where they had a bunch of old guns. Found this huge shotgun and shells to go with it. Thought I'd try it out.

Turns out, it was an 8-gauge. Damn-near blew my shoulder off (and I know how to fire a 12-gauge). Huge bruise. Looked it up later, and found that it was used in WWI to blow the treads off tanks from a bipod.

I don't recommend firing one from a standing position.

Yeah, that's pretty much what the 8-gauge did to me, too. You feel like a dumbass for the rest of the day.

My first gun was a S&W .22 revolver that when I got interested in pistols.
M14 in basic training was cool but in Nam my sniper M14 w/ Starlight and Silencer …nice
Loved to let loose with the M60 …. I just didn’t what to carry the bitch
Power and intensity the .50 Cal is the beast … so much of a weapon
The M16 full automatic is really a sweet weapon but the AK47 just feel like more weapon.
1911 .45 as a pistol fan what not to like about a 1911, I carried one in Nam all the time

I got in Nam a M3 Grease Gun .45 what a great, powerful and fun weapon ( short distance effective weapon)… it was my back up and tunnel gun .. Loved this weapon it is my favorite weapon to shot

I enjoy my Sig pistols and all are wonderful weapons to shot P220. 45, P238 .380, P226 </SPAN>

The 50 cal. sniper rifle that my cousin's neighbor owns was probably the most fun I've had shooting a single round.

I would say my favorite weapons that we own in our family (all located at my dad's house as I have young kids) are...

Russian SKS

Our AR-15

Neither of these pictures are our actual guns, but the pictures are as close as to the one we have as I could quickly find on google.

Not mine. One of my buddies has one, a nice big chrome one. They're very expensive to shoot. It's about $2 per round.
