To be fair, most members of Augusta National still think that it's bullshit that the Civil Rights Act was passed, so the name makes perfect sense in that regard

That was my first reaction.

Owner is far worse than master...master implies head of household, doesn't mean you own anything, whether it is slaves or tenants.
