Just saw that Hanigan went to the DL with a strained oblique.

Doubtful.....I bet with Dusty that Meso could be the player of the month in the NL and Hanigan would come back and catch 3/5 of the games regardless of his hitting woes.

That ball was shot and he was plenty deep enough to get him out. That is not a difficult play when the ball is received so quickly.....though it may have helped get Homer to focus.

I hope so too. I didn't see the game yesterday. Did Votto look like a changed hitter like he did on today's blast? Yep....he just struck out on ball 4 and now has 25 whiffs in 77 AB with just 7 walks.

Homer had to get 5 outs that inning before he got to the dugout. Non regulars Izturis and Mesoraco not about to take any chances, and the chief chance taker makes an apparent E on one he doesn't need to take a chance on!

It would test Hannahan's footwork and glove work if the runner makes it as tough as he can by drifting to the right to make that throw go as far as possible to the outside of the bag, and then cut left sharply with a fade away slide to the inside of the bag.Ironman92;1430970 wrote:That ball was shot and he was plenty deep enough to get him out.
