I definitely wouldn't be able to predict that. But the second it stayed there it dawned on me it's the surface tension. But that was pretty cool, thanks for sharing.

I had a feeling that would happen in the first video.

I saw a video a week or so ago from the same guy showing what happens if you cry in space. It's pretty cool because essentially the water sticks to your face and since it doesn't fall off, the teardrop just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

I think it's awesome that they keep doing this sort of thing and putting out these videos.

**EDIT** Found the crying video:

And this one, a good friend of mine was a science teacher and I showed this to him.

The nickle went clear/translucent. Something like that.

I am sure a science person can explain it a little better. I liked watching the nickle as it looked like you could see through it. The heat of the water after the reaction was supposedly that of extremely hot coffee.

http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2013/05/a-fifth-force-may-alter-gravity-at-cosmic-scales.html

Thought I'd bring this thread back for some crazy science stuff.

Appears Scientists are working on theory that there may be a 5th force; "These two possibilities are both radical in their own way,” Jain said. “One is saying that general relativity is correct, but we have this strange new form of energy. The other is saying we don't have a new form of energy, but gravity is not described by general relativity everywhere.”

Pretty crazy to think that gravity, a pillar of physics, may be under question.
