All the crazies are crawling out of the woodwork to rally. Although this could just be a "standard" robbery/shootout. Hopefully the cop is ok and no one else is hurt.

Reports are routine burglary and suspect fleed, fired some shots. Reporters are very disappointed.

Yep. On Greta the first thing the "on-the-scene" reporter said was "Agencies have responded but no clear idea yet as to whether this is connected to the Boston bombing." Helpful hint for you that I gathered while sitting in my room 12 hours away: It isn't.

No kidding, dickhead.

How many people were murdered in Boston today? There were two people murdered in Toledo tonight alone as part of routine, everyday, run of the mill shootings. So I imagine robberies are not that uncommon in Boston.

I wouldn't really be all that concerned. It's obviously a tragedy that this cop was shot, but this was just a routine robbery. It has no connection to anything else happening in the world. There were over 40 robbery-related murders in the U.S. today alone, per statistics.

apparently there is a gunfight going on in the streets, and there have been multiple explosions. Suspects had grenades with them and were throwing them out their car window.

no clue, one suspect has been shot and was being treated by EMT to keep him alive so they can talk to him. the other suspect got into another car and is on the move. Automatic weapons, grenades, IEDs.

Hmmmm....might be unrelated to Monday, but sounds like the carjacking was just a ploy. They obviously were looking for much more than a set of wheels.
