I laughed.
I think their responses in that thread show how they are generally. It's hard for them to have a discussion without belittling someone. They do have good posts now and then though.

And they're not worth the 80% of bullshit for that other 20%.
Plus, on Cleveland threads, they're OK until the thread turns in a way that they did not dictate, and they try to faux moderate it by being assholes.
So realistically, that makes them serviceable about 5-10% of the time.

As usual, we have two posters who have taken over an otherwise interesting thread and have turned it into their personal pissing ground. Separately, they're actually OK (at different levels), but as soon as one of them posts, the other seems obligated to jump on and destroy any possibility of real discussion. Together, they're far more of a problem than the Sleepers or even Isadores of the world.
I'm not JJ nor do I even play him on TV, but one might consider that the site would be far better if one of the two were no longer a participant.
I do know that for all of their claims of them being the people who keep the discussions going, for me it's the total opposite. I find myself participating less, and it's a shame, as the few are making the site less for the many.

I think that's a sentiment that has been brought up before in the mod forum. I know I agree with it at least.
I found it amusing how they talk about how there was a period of time I wasn't posting much. That was generally because I didn't feel like dealing with their constant harassment and overly aggressive nature.

There are probably a ton of posters that feel that way. You can't post an opinion on any thread without them calling you smug, little guy, etc

Yeah, like I can understand the "hurt feelz" argument to a level, as there are a certain percent of people who'd get turned off by anything resembling antagonism.
But when it's 2-4% of the site claiming "hurt feelz" because the entire rest of the site isn't overly cool with them overrunning everything whenever they decide a thread needs more douchiness, that really throws that argument out the window.
