This is awesome, and the authors right, the October 19th game between Arkansas and Alabama just got some juice.

Bielema inherited a good team/program from Barry Alvarez.

Michigan State was pretty bad before Saban. They were a sub .500 team, Saban then made them an above .500 team with 1 pretty successful season then he jumped ship to LSU.

I'm not so sure the situations are comparable. And while I don't love Saban by any means as he has been plenty shady with the way he jumps schools and leaves teams, he is a damn good coach. Bielema has a lot of work to do if he wants to be in the conversation with Saban.

He probably pissed off the rest of the SEC with this line..

"The reason the SEC is talked about all the time is one team, because of their dominance,"

I'm sure LSU, Florida and Texas A&M just to name a few will have something to prove about just one team. I know Alabama is on a roll lately but these teams aren't pushovers either.

Agreed. What bothers me about Bielema is his refusal to accept responsibility when things went wrong. I'm a big believer that people that predominately having an External Locus of Control when facing adverse circumstances, usually lack what it takes to be elite in their respective professions. The tough situations he faced while in the Big 10 will be much more frequent in the SEC. Complaining about recruiting tactics, losing coaches, etc. will only work a few times before he has to accept responsibility for poor clock management (Michigan State game), underachieving, and failing to win the big games(besides the year JJ Watt dominated the OSU offensive line).

Bielema is an idiot lol. Just one dominant team... smh. Three other SEC programs have won National titles in the last 6 years. Yeah Alabama has been THE dominant team, but to say they're the only reason people talk about the SEC is pretty dumb.

Bielema must want to lose a bunch of games by 50+ points in the next year or two, as I don't see anyone letting up on the gas against him now.

Lol, are you trying to make me root for SEC teams now?

I don't know. I'm a big fan of the "lesser of two evils" sort of thing, but I don't know if there is a "lesser" in this group. Burn them all with fire, I guess!

1. Bad clock management can be overlooked in the SEC. Ask Les Miles.

2. I still hate thinking about that game with the way JJ Watt just destroyed our line. But your right, for the most part Wisconsin under Bielema has been towards the top, but they never took the next step under him, he just continued what Alvarez built.
