Went to bed last night feeling great(worked out, ate a healthy dinner, blah blah). Woke up at 5am and vomited. Woke up at 7am and vomited. Woke up at 9am and vomited. Then repeated that every half hour for the next 3 hours. I had the spins for literally 5 hours of my morning and honestly wanted to knock myself out so I didn't feel like that. I don't know where it came from, but I've heard a virus has been going around? I'm just now feeling good enough to eat saltines and drink a little coke.

Anyone else get this?

Oh yeah, I also pissed out of my ass a bunch too.

I had the same thing last week. Lasted about 36 hours. I couldn't sleep for more than 15 minutes at a time. It was awful.

I'm thinking of working in some herb to cure my belly, but I don't know how well that will work with the pissing out the butt. Did your's come out of nowhere too?

Yeah, I felt fine that morning. Had my normal breakfast and coffee. Stomach started killing me around 10, took some zantac and it didn't go away, then I knew I was in trouble

Took tums extra strength and didn't do anything for me either. Literally one of the worst sicknesses I have had in my lifetime.

It seems your illness has made you cranky.

Also, I bet ETB is dying from anthrax in his toe.

The CDC put out an advisory in January that a new strain of Norovirus was sweeping thru the country. Also known as the stomach flu, it is very contagious.
Basically, it is a viral gastroenteritis whose flu like symptoms last about 48 hours with some lingering GI effects for a few days beyond that.
I had it early in January, and it is a bitch.

I had these type of symptoms about two years ago. Lasted just about as long as LJ. Sip on some gingerale to settle ye stomach. Also sipping on Gatorade to get electrolytes doesn't hurt.

I always hate when you get the pukes at even intervals like that, and the intervals are just short enough to where you're starting to fall asleep and then you have to puke.

Luckily, I haven't gotten that in a long time. I still end up vomiting because of my GERD, but that's because I'm a huge *****.

I'd fall asleep for 20 minutes, have the spins for 10, and would throw up. And the throw ups weren't your normal ones. Sweaty, bile, dry heaving.

A proven medication has helped calm my stomach:thumbup:

Still feel weak and like shit. I'm sure that will change with a sleep that isn't interrupted to erupt out of both ends.
