In my younger days St. Patrick Day Party was a great reason to take off of work and get blasted at lunch and continue the trend over the weekend. :D

Not so much now … simple dinner out a few Irish Coffees is just fine now. :)

Any plans for the St. Patrick Weekend?

Those of you in Chicago … St. Patrick is always a great time…

Some things don't really need to be said. They are already implied.

I will be working, so no plans.

I'll be doing the St. Patrick's Day pub crawl in Charlotte. The group that puts it on touts it as the world's largest bar crawl. Last year there were like 15,700 people who signed up to do it. Signing up entails checking in, getting a pub crawl t-shirt for $20 and free cover to all the bars in the city with $2 beer specials.

I'll be starting tonight as soon as I finish up my work. Tomorrow kick's off with a few Irish Coffees to start the day and then day-drinking before the St. Patrick's day show that I'm on Saturday night. I'll be going to Molly Malone's after the show to enjoy more drinks and Irish bands. Wake up Sunday for kegs and eggs, and continue drinking until I pass out.

Can't wait.

Best place I've ever seen for St. Patty's day is, believe it or not, Savannah, Ga. That place knows how to throw an awesome party.

Been to the Savannah bash twice and tis a corker!

Long before there was an Ellis Island many Irish emigre ships first landed at Port Savannah. Still many Irish Americans in the area.

Not Irish, don't drink so St. Patrick's day is a total waste.
