I've tried to flip to this game 4 times, and it's been commercials every time. Wright State has it tied up though, so I'm determined to catch some actual game action.

Valpo has 20 turnovers, most in the 2nd half.

WSU is going to piss this away.

Wow, that looked like a clean block all the way.

Agreed. The refs have been inconsistent both ways.

Dagger 3 for Valpo. How long has it been since Wright State scored?

They just said the last 3 minutes or so. WSU has been trying to play fast recently...they dont operate that way. They tend to play in the half-court and look for open looks. The early shot clock shots are killing them.

That was another terrible call.

The classless dunk by Jarrin Young at the end won me some cash. The spread was 9

Tough ending for WSU after being up 6.

It was only a matter of time before Valpo started scoring again. WSU will be very good next year. Everyone is back. They were one of very few teams this year who didn't start any seniors.

DLazz hinted at this, but WSU's youth lost it for them in the end. Valpo started five seniors. I'm glad WSU was able to come back and make a game of it after having a miserable first half, but it was only a matter of time before Valpo made a few plays. Would have been a great upset for WSU, but not meant to be. Not too shabby since they weren't expected much success prior to the season. As for the refs, I thought they missed calls for both teams down the end. I suppose that's better than missing calls that favors just one team.

P.S. I've watched some of these small conference title games, and ESPN seems to fill the announcing booth with people you don't normally hear from. I think these guys try to overcompensate the opportunity by talking way too much and trying too hard.

I watched the game!

It was fun. Give Wright State credit for making a game of it and nearly stealing it, but their youth caught up to them in clutch-time.
