Attention Parents......know who your kid hangs out with.....monitor it closely, and if you upset your kid in doing so, they'll be better off for it.

On a related note, do kids need bicycles that badly? I think that's the real issue here.

I like how you focused on just the fact a video game was involed. There was two other things and it doesn't really matter what was involved at all the fact is this kind of things shouldn't happen. I just really hate when people try to blame video games for everything.

One of the kids admitted to doing it at the scene, saying he'd make a "bad decision."

You think????

I wasn't blaming video games. I could have included the $40 or bike mentioned. I was just making a point that kids (and adults for that matter) turn into animals just to get their hands on material things.

Garage hopping for the win.

It's really not that hard to find alcohol. And if you're planning on setting a human being ablaze with it I doubt you're really worried about getting caught.

Did you ever read the original article that had how the video was involved? This isn't just about a game. from what I remember one of the kids "bought" a video game off the other kid for $40. when the kid wouldn't pay him he took the kids dads bike and then somehow from there one of them got rubbing alcohol poured on them and set on fire.

Clearly the video games' fault. Parenting and the kid's judgment had nothing to do with it.

I hate everyone.
