I'm getting back into the game after a 20 year hiatus.....I was an 15- 18 handicapper in my prime. I've been getting around last year in a store brand set, but I'm back to taking the game more seriously and have upgraded my woods to Rocketballz. I don't hit my long irons very well or consistently, but really like the 24 degree hybrid in my set. I'm going to upgrade my irons eventually...but I really need to improve my long shots first. I'm looking at getting a couple of hybrids to replace my 2, 3, 4 iron. any thoughts? or suggestions? I'm looking at the Cobra Bafflers and the Rocket ballz rescue hybrids. Are the Taylor made worth the extra $50 bucks apiece?

also....I'm older and not a big swinger...what can anyone tell me about 'senior flex' shafts.

I like the little Nike hybrid

Honestly though.....whatever you get used to and spend some time with will do the trick.

This being said I live by one general rule with sports equipment......no need for a $200 club if you have a $12 swing.

I am not a fan of golf because it's boring.

Hope this helps.

I have my Nike Slingshot 4i hybrid from 2008 I believe and that thing is still hot. I can absolutely crush it with this club. If I was you I would go to Golf Galaxy and look at the pre-owned section. Could buy a great hybrid for cheap
