Just caught the last half of Kitchen Nightmares, featuring this restaurant. Has anyone been there? Is it as bad as portrayed?

I've never been there but I'm like 5 minutes away from it every day so I plan to check it out soon.

I was there for the second night of taping. Hoping to see myself on the small screen next Friday.
Not sure how he is still in business.

I have always heard that the owner is a dick, the food portions and quality do not meet the price and that the service sucks.

Don't do it. Go to Bar North or Mekong or Red Gables or Zinc instead.

I'm not sure where Zinc, Bar North, or Red Gables are but I've been to Mekong and I liked what I had.

Zinc is on the waterfront in Sandusky.
Red Gables is on SR6 across from the Sandusky airport.
Bar North is at Thunderbird gold course in Huron.
