It was a battle with Hiland looking ragged at times. Strasburg was very scrappy, battled hard, and for most of the game had us out-rebounded by getting position on our taller players. Excellent effort by both teams. A little too much Dylan (24/10) and Josh Yoder was again effective off the bench.

not a good game by Hiland. Strasburg played well and hard, but coach locked the kids out of the locker room at halftime for a reason. Poor defense (e.g. running along side a player pushing them the whole time..you'll get called for that everytime--as well you should. probably had 5 fouls called like that), poor shot selection, poor passing, turnovers, etc etc. Hopefully they got that out of their system.

I just hope the locker room is OK. A former player named Luke said at halftime that Coach had that look like something was going to get damaged.

You had to love the effort of the Tigers. Down 14 in the 4th, but they battled back. Seger made a couple super moves and passes, but as Ricola said, Dylan was a little too much. Luke Burch had a nice game too. Hiland fouled too much. Kept letting Strasburg rest with a stopped clock. Hawks played hard, they just aren't executing and making good decisions at times. It'll come.

How about that foul call on Dylan? Hand on top of the ball, no body contact. Ridiculous. Some fishy calls both ways, but that one was a real stinker. I could have seen that one without my glasses!

Wasn't at the game, but the score is a lot closer than I would have expected. No moral victories, but I hope the Tigers can grow and earn more W's after the effort last night.
