So out in Washington (the state) a little segment was filmed in response to the state's legal limit of 5 nano grams.
This isn't a scientific study, just an interesting video with some humor from those stoned and results suggesting that the 5 nano grams might be a little too severe. It's reasonably unbiased as it does make an argument for why the 5 nanogram limit is reasonable in light of the fact that different strains can have more of an effect and the limit is based to protect from people who might be first time users.

And then there is a second video of outtakes from the stoner Addy.

The one thing I thought was interesting is that by the time they were making mistakes to the extent that the cop (recognition expert) and the driving instructor thought they should no longer be driving, the subjects themselves previously admitted they shouldn't be driving.

I presume that is similiar to the .08 BAC for DUI's?
Have never tried pot so I cannot comment, but I presume it is similiar to alcohol in that some people can tolerate more than others and that limit might be too low for those who are used to smoking alot

I'm no expert but from the video it seems that smoking a very little amount takes people well over the legal limit.thavoice;1392965 wrote:I presume that is similiar to the .08 BAC for DUI's?

It seemed as if what they smoked the first time is the equivalent of someone drinking 1 drink (1.5 shot, 6oz of wine or 12 oz of beer) and then being over the limit for alcohol.
But like I said, I'm no expert in the weight and usage rates of marijuana.

Having done both, I will say you can typically drive fine while buzzed on either. But when you get shitfaced on booze, you're fucked, while smoking more weed doesn't really make your driving any worse than a few hits of the stuff.
But, as with all things, it's really all about the user.

I think it needs to be higher. These things can usually be adjusted down pretty easily but once you start out at a low amount it's fucked for eternity.

Dont smoke and drive and dont drink and drive if you dont a DUI/DWI. Pretty simple concept.

Driving while under the influence is against the rules. All rule breakers should be infracted.

I passed my DL test while high, that should mean I get to drive while high if I want.
