I'm not a wrestling fan, but I am surprised by this. I would much rather watch wrestling over trampolining or synchronized diving. I'm alright with diving as an individual sport, but having two people do the same think at the same time doesn't do it for me entertainment wise.

But I will admit that the last time I watched Olympic wrestling was when that Rulon Gardner took out Alexander Karelin.

Also, I'd rather keep wrestling over Judo or Taekwondo.

This has to be the oldest Olympic Sport? It was around for the original Olympic Games in Athens right?

I hate wrestling, but that is dumb as fuck.

The IOC just further proves how corrupt and how much of a joke they are. The following sports belong in the olympics more so than the oldest sport alive???: badminton, archery, rifle, equestrian, modern pent, synchronized swimming, trampoline, and fucking SPEED WALKING. Give me a fucking break. I am thru with the olympics after 2016.

Eff'ing BS. Huge kick in the nuts to wrestling. This will see the further decline for college programs and athlete opportunities. Wrestlers will need to turn to MMA to further their combat careers.
