Anyone else been catching some of the stuff recently for this weeklong celebration?

For us "older" OCers....man that brings back memories!

I can remember watching the Bulls play on Christmas day in like '92 with my dad when I was young. I thought he was the best thing ever, then my dad went into detail and told me about how he has broken the Cavs heart a few times and I shouldn't like him haha.

GOAT! I love watching the old school MJ games and hearing all the stories people have about him.

Honestly, I don't Tawn's statement the other day was that far off.

Basically he said hat MJ, at 50, could still get 10-12 points a night playing with a guy like Bron or Kobe(he used those 2 names). If the man had a year to get into shape, and not the shape he's in now, I definitely could see him having decent production.

I mean he would have to drop 50 pounds, but if anyone could; it's MJ.

He's 50, if he were 43 or maybe 45 I would agree with you, but 50 is 50. No knock on him but father time is undefeated. I think he could still make a roster if he were in tip top shape though.

Kinda like Willie Gault running a 4.4/40 at 50.

I think Darrell Green could probably still run a 4.3, but that's not basketball. Who could he defend, could he get his shot off? He's not going to beat anyone off the dribble at that age, his basketball IQ would have to carry him. Maybe he could be productive just spotting up if he had a Lebron facilitating him open shots but that's all I can see.

Well for your two's argument sake, that is MORE than Mike Miller can do or Sasha.

I don't get why his 50th birthday has reinforced ESPN to revamp the "Lebron vs Kobe vs Jordan" discussions.

Because the only sports they can discuss is Basketball and Football. They don't know s*** about any other sports, and their baseball analysts are so ridiculously good that if a regular reporter brings it up they sound stupid

Lol. This is such a god awful comparison. Jordan should of never came back to the Wizards. At 50 and fat it would be laughable.
