There's bad service...and then there's lol bad service.

Tonight at Bob Evans.....

Hostess seated our party of 4. She walked us around the entire inside area and then seated us 15 feet from her hostess station. lol WTF? Waitress took 10 minutes to come over to us. She took our drink orders and brought us 4 drinks, but only 2 straws. She takes our orders, wife orders the turkey and dressing and they didn't have any turkey so she changes her order but the waitress incorrectly reads it back 3 times (twice saying slaw and no one ever said anything about slaw).....

She brings out our soups/salads/appetizers :

Forgot Dad's chili
Forgot crackers for my chili
Brought my son french dressing instead of ranch
Never brought us our bread

Main entree time....still no bread, brought my wife the wrong chicken, 3 empty glasses and she never noticed. By this time anger has turned to laughter. Fortunately a girl I went to school with was waiting 2 other tables across the way....I flagged her down and she knew what was going on. Got us our refills, straws and bread.

Dessert....two of us ordered the 3 course entree and each wanted a chocolate chip cookie....the waitress I knew brought them to us. Shortly thereafter as we are EATING THE COOKIES our waitress stops by and says she'll be right back with our desserts???? Lol....leaves, comes back and asks us what we want for dessert, she finally notices me eating a gigantic cookie and realizes someone already got it. We ask for a to go box and 6 minutes later we leave with no to go box and left her a shitty $3 tip (she won't understand that it was about 7%) and we gave the assisting waitress $6.

The entire time we were there the only manager in the store was bussing tables and slamming dishes everywhere into her plastic bin.

This sort of thing is exactly why I will never set food in a BoBoe's again. They treat there help like ****, then wonder why they are stuck with overworked emploiyees.

Sounds like you guys were horrible patrons and the waitress became fed up with your holier than thou attitude and indecisiveness regarding the menu.

There are 2 good waitresses that I know of at this one and we didn't get either one....initially.

Management at BE is simply atrocious.

Yeah...uh, there wasn't any indecision....doubt she even remembers anything about us being there.

It's Bob Evans. They probably make $200 a week for 40+ hours.

Doesn't excuse shitty service....but you have to remember that when you're in there.

1) Service is fine at our podunk BE. Outside of our area, I see it.
2) Not sure why you left the waitress a tip at all.
3) Did you get any slaw?

I did go to a Wendy's the other day and didn't get served AT ALL. Took care of them online.

Bob Evans is for poor people.

My wife and I went in around 9:00pm on a Saturday. We were the only ones at the counter or in line. No one was at the cash register. A little female worker was at the front of the counter when we came in, walked to the kitchen area, and chatted with 3 or so other coworkers while we stood there. Not one word was said to us. Right before we left, the little female worker walked back to the cash register...and came out right beside us to look out the window in the dining area.

We turned around and walked out. We were in there waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Pretty poor service.
