Not a good idea to disrespect a Judge during an arraignment.

Miami teen Penelope Soto was going through a simple arraignment for crashing her bike while allegedly on some pills. But her crappy attitude combined with a sassy Latin judge ended up getting her into more trouble than she bargained for.

Ehh, I don't think he was being that big of a douche. She definitely had it coming. And not everyone knows what a Xanax Bar is either. Honestly I only know what it is because I'm a pharmacist. The only people who say Xanax Bars are people who are abusing them. When I have someone say to me they want their "Xany Bars" filled I always run a report on them and 9 times out of 10 find a reason not to fill them. Actually by law I have to run a report on anyone who refers to a controlled substance by a street name. People like her make me sick.

This judge seems cool and whatever court appointed attorney this girl had should hopefully get no clients ever. Should have known to tell her to stfu.

Attorney could have tried to tell her to STFU I think. Kind of glad he didn't but I'd want my attorney to try to stop me if I was doing something that was going to damage my case. Of course that's why I pay good money when I need one.

I thought I heard the attorney talking to the judge. Could have been the prosecutor or an aide or something though.

There was a person from the public defenders office (the male voice) and he says something about accepting the appointment, but then the judge says "You can't accept the appointment, you haven't been appointed. You can sell your jewelry and hire a private attorney."
