Awful if true and he needs to resign if it does link him.

Sure... chief, until next month when an R has a scandal.
Look man it's bad if true, but give me a break if you are trying to pull the D's are full of sex scandals and political BS argument.

Like the sun rising, political sex scandals occur all the time, regardless of party.

I would be very open to what comes next month via D or R but lets make sure that we both point out the bias reporting, actions from the party leaders and the conclusion justified or not …. Is that a fair arrangement :)

Well he's certainly an old creep and a perv but prostitution is legal in the Dominican Republic and even if true that the women were as young as 16 it is the age of consent there (and in most American states for that matter). Maybe he should resign but I don't know David Vitter did not resign even though he used prostitutes where it was illegal to do so.

So, he's a huge creep but I think it's fair to allow the People of New Jersey to vote him out if they don't want a creep representing them. Considering he represents New Jersey perhaps he is an appropriate representative for the state. :p

^^^this.

If they're of age, and it's legal, not sure why it's being pitched the way it is in the news. Creepy, sure, but I suspect we'd find all sorts of creepy things about anyone if we looked hard enough.

All he needs to do is appear on television with a remorseful attitude, and ask for his constituents' opinions on whether or not he should resign. I'm sure they would welcome him back with open arms, and this will springboard his career to greater heights and he will become an icon of the Democrat Party.

Worked for Ted Kennedy.

Should he be permitted to vote on any Bill or Legislation?

Should the Democrat Leadership demand him to step down ASAP?

Morally, how is his situation different from Mark Foley's or SC's Sanford? Both Pubs were annhiliated by the press and the Dems. Menendez gets a pass? Why?

Who the hell cares if he hired a prostitute in DR. If what he did was legal there, I don't care.

Well lets see... these alleged encounters supposedly took place at the mansion of a political contributor, one who personally donates to Sen. Menendez. These encounters were allegedly arrainged and paid for by this contributor. This contributor also has had a lot of IRS problems lately. 11 million plus in IRS liens, yet he hobnobs with US Senators flying them around on his private jet.

Nothing to see here folks. Just a creep plowing young girls.

Apples to oranges. I said if he hired a prostitute who was the age of consent in her country, I don't care. Prostitution with someone who is of legal age is not something I care about. I don't know anything about this guy and he sounds like a sleeze for sure. But I would guess most members of congress have secrets that aren't pretty. None of that equates to child labor issues.

^^^^let me get that straight.... if a child is of legal age in their own country, it's okay if they are abused (by our standards) sexually, but not okay if they are abused(by our standards) making tennis shoes. ????

You can think sex tourism and child labor are wrong and that the people who engage in it are immoral without grandstanding about a Senator needing to resign...as Belly suggested Menendez do in the OP. If the People of Oregon elected Phil Knight as a Senator I don't think it would be appropriate to demand that he resign because it was announced that his company used child labor.

The people of those respective states can vote in new people if they deem their current Senators to be immoral.

If he violated campaign finance laws, he ought to be prosecuted.

I'm not sure I see the similarity of the senator using a prostitute in DR and the Benghazi fiasco.

REID BACKS MENENDEZ AMID UNDERAGE PROSTITUTION CHARGES...

Not sure who is more repugnant, Menendez or Reid, but both are the most embarrassing, disgusting, and disgraceful senators to ever hold office. Hope the democrat party is proud.

In his defense, you never hear about someone being busted with an old prostitute.
