Yeah, but looking at the pictures it's absolutely amazing that there was only one.

Did get pretty nasty here in west central ohio as well for a bit. It gets dangerous when it is fine out and then a clipper of snow comes up and gives white out conditions!

I read that there's quite a few that are in critical condition. I hope that none of them turn into fatalities from this accident.

The news report said that there were several cars that were trapped underneath semi-trucks when paramedics arrived.

I was on 270 about a 1/2 before the one in Columbus and it was close to a white out at times then.

This thread is about the 80 car accident near Cincinnati. Don't derail this thread with other accidents.... start new ones to discuss those.

/ts'd

But seriously hope everyone else recovers sad to see.

This is pretty scary. I don't drive on the outerbelts too often but am driving a long way every day and have hit these type things before....but not a high volume traffic.

I try to maintain the car length per 10mph rule around those outerbelts...but even that probably doesn't help much because the people behind probably aren't doing that.

This thread isn't about you, it's about a car-pile up near Cincinnati. If you want to talk about your driving habits then start a new thread.

Was out and about today. Some whiteout conditions and wind dropped a quick inch. People weren't handling it well to say the least.

Where? If not in the greater tri-county area, we don't care on this thread.

No pileups I have heard of in NE Ohio. Have had similar weather conditions.
