I've done it twice in my life. Both times, after replacing everything in my wallet, I got the wallet back(sans the cash though).

Yes 3 times. I have learned that Chase can now replace debit card in the branch locations. Very convenient

I lost mine or was pick pocketed at the state fair one time. I did not have any cash in it at the time was going to an atm to get cash when I realized it was gone. I went to the lost and found and someone had turned it in. Everything still in there so went and grabbed some money out of the atm and everything was fine.

On another note when I was a kid I found a wallet at the local fair. It had $2500 in it. I turned it in to the office and when the guy came to claim it I got called over the loud speaker at the fair. He gave me $100 and then bought everything I was selling at the fair. It was pretty cool.

Lost my wallet when I was a senior in high school. It was a hassle getting my driver's license reissued.

Something I learned through a friend. If you do lose your wallet report it stolen. It will make it easier to get your new license.

I couple of years ago I lost my wallet on a roller coaster at King's Island. I had to file a report before I left the park, and of course they can't check for lost items under the coaster until after the park is closed, so I had to call back the next day and thankfully they had it. The worst part was that I was going to Put-in-Bay the next day but I didn't have a wallet, so I had to go to the bank and take out a bunch of cash and didn't have my ID. The worst part was that King's Island didn't have an option for me to have it overnighted. Thankfull I have a friend who lived about 10 minutes away from KI and he agreed to go pick the wallet up and take it to FedEx for me so me I got it at PIB the next day.

Lost my ass few times but never a wallet

Wallet, keys and cell phone are important functional tools that should be protected... lost, misplaced or forgotten is unacceptable behavior and irresponsible mofo . </SPAN>

Note: I dropped my cell phone down an open parking lot drain. I was so pissed off and had to admit to my girls what I had done &#8230; a long pole and gum does not work&#8230;. should have used duct tape.. good new i got a new phone and better program </SPAN>

Update:

Forgot to add that my wallet was in my lunchbox...

Got a phone call today, my lunchbox was ran over and the guy stopped and got out to check what he hit. Opened my box, empty with just ice packs and trash from me eating my lunch.

Guy takes box and heads home....

Guy gets home today (drove to Kansas from Livingston Avenue). He was about to throw box away but checks the box again and find wallet in front zipper pouch. He finds my license, work id, cash and bank cards still in the wallet.

Guy contacts my work and told them what happened, he's shipping my lunchbox and wallet back to my work address.

I couldn't believe that it was found and found by an honest person.

Never lost my wallet. I tend to be pretty anal about checking to make sure I have my wallet, keys, and phone every time I leave my house.

Today I actually managed to accidentally leave my phone behind when I ran out to the store.

This is a chord, not a tangent, so please don't thread ban me...

Does everyone put their wallet in their pocket horizontally? Harder to take out. And, like dlazz, I'm analysis about checking my three main things(Wallet, keys, phone).

When in a very busy place that I feel pick pocketing is more common, I throw the old wallet in the front right pocket.
