The best way to win a gun fight is with a gun. Everybody needs more and bigger guns.

If you can point a rifle with a 5,432 round clip, you should be able to.

The best way to trample on our Constitutional rights is with executive orders. Everybody needs more and bigger gun control laws.

If you can write 5,432 more pages of gun control laws on top of the library of pre-existing local, state, and federal gun control laws, you should be able to.

Magazine, not clip.

Man, why not go back to the 1920s, and let's make legal Tommy guns, and BARs.
That way I can really keep those feds at bay.....

Oh, and why stop at guns, let's also make grenades, RPGs legal too so I can shoot down those black helicopters that will be taking my guns away.

The difference between a magazine and clip is that a magazine has some type of mechanic within that loads the round into the weapon chamber (spring or pressure). The term magazine or clip is distorted because some think that if you can remove it from the weapon they loosely use the term clip. Removal has nothing to do with the differences between the two.

Bottom line is both are removable and both move a round into position to be loaded into the chamber.

see pi and have a better understanding of mag or clip

But, but, think of the CHILDREN.

Not Obama's kids, because they go to a school with armed guards.

What?!? How DARE you use Obama's children to further your political point. Random dead white kids are fine, but not Obama's kids. That's disgusting.

Want to stop school shooting, why don't we arm the kids?
Hell, Africa does it.
Why stop there, let's have national gun training days at ranges for kids and arm all kids with guns.
That will stop the shootings.
No one wants to mess with a spunky 5 year old packing.

Would it charge how you behave? Wouldn't for the vast majority.

If someone commits a crime against me, I want them to be punished. Do I dream that the laws that do that will keep them from committing those crimes? Of course not.

Deterrence should be the absolute last motivation for passing laws. We have enough history to know better.

Of course. But it's already illegal to kill someone so Obama pretending that banning guns is going to stop being from killing each other is stupid. The guy is incompetent, but because he has a D next to his name you'll continue riding his ****.

How's it worked out so far?

Your statement is incorrect without including "in part" or equivalent.

People are going to break any law no matter what it is. We should just get rid of laws since we shouldn't use them as a deterrance.

No, the punishment aspect is worthwhile on its own.

If there is no law, then how are they going to be punished? That is the purpose of a law; deterrence is only a side effect.

Not necessarily. The punishment isn't supposed to be a deterrent as much as punishment equal to the offense.

I would hope so. I can't think of someone caught breaking the law when they are not punished with some type of fine, probation or jail.

Plenty of celebs and politicians get off with a slap on the wrist.
