Yes show his own words where he said that.

You have to forgive us. While the lies and changing story allows for you to have more material to formulate excuses, it gets difficult for the rest of us when we don't know which story is now convenient or "true."karen lotz;1373101 wrote:Again, that's what you want to hear. I would if he would tell the truth. How can you support a guy who's a fraud? LOL Only in south bend!karen lotz;1373111 wrote:Yes show his own words where he said that.
karen lotz;1373110 wrote:Bottom line is people that don't want to believe him won't believe him no matter what. First it was he had to talk about it. That didn't work. Then he needed to show the flower receipt. That just proves what a horrible boyfriend he was. Then we need to see phone records. But he didn't go see her even though he came from Hawaii. It doesn't matter what anyone else says, deadspin has an unnamed source who knows someone that knows Touiasasopo that is 80% sure Te'o was in on it and that's good enough.

They were talking MARRIAGE...no? Those words were from his father's mouth (who he Manti also lied to).sleeper;1373106 wrote:His own words. Christ are you really this delusional? The guy is a fraud. I'm sorry that you support fraudulent players.

They have faith sleeper.
You can't have a logical argument with faith.

So don't you find it a bit strange that rather than giving them the actual phone records, they give a spreadsheet and expect that to be taken as proof?karen lotz;1373122 wrote:you aren't impressed? well ****! why didn't you say so, elbuckeye!

I'm not saying it's necessarily false; I'm just questioning why they wouldn't give definitive proof. I mean the phone records themselves aren't that vital, but it would still be nice to offer valid evidence.karen lotz;1373132 wrote:I don't know, I don't get a paper bill and if I go to view my usage online, there is a link on the first page to download spreadsheets for calls and data usage. I haven't tried but I do think I can sort it by phone number so I can see how often I talk to any number on there. Would it be better if they printed off the full bill? Sure. But just because it was a spreadsheet doesn't automatically mean it was made up.
Well when you are dealing with a liar who used a dead girlfriend to promote goodwill towards himself in an effort to win the Heisman trophy. The guy is a LIAR AND A FRAUD, yet ND fans still back his actions.Automatik;1373121 wrote:They were talking MARRIAGE...no? Those words were from his father's mouth (who he Manti also lied to).
Honestly, I'm not sure which would be worse, him being in on it or being completely duped. If he wasn't in it on it, he is one really dumb dude.karen lotz;1373129 wrote:eh for the record, I said last week when this came out that he lied/embellished the relationship, which would be him doing something wrong. There have been how many other people come out saying this same "girl" duped them or someone related to them and not one person has said Te'o was in on it.
I was actually a Te'o fan, thought he was a great player, and was a great story for college football. I'm not an ND hater at all, and I don't think he was in on it from the beginning. I do, however, believe he found out long before Dec. 6th. There is too much stuff that just doesn't add up, mainly never wanting to visit her through her wreck and illness, then he says it "never crossed his mind". You can't possibly believe that?karen lotz;1373129 wrote:eh for the record, I said last week when this came out that he lied/embellished the relationship, which would be him doing something wrong. Do you think he "played along" with his "story"?karen lotz;1373416 wrote:people are hanging on to that quote way too much, probably because that ESPN had it running on the bottom line for a day. that was one part of a longer quote in which he said why he didn't visit or couldn't visit.
as for knowing before the 6th, what info makes you think that? what doesn't add up specifically where you would think he knew earlier?

LOL...here is the whole quote. This seems believable to you? He was going home, they were pulling the plug, and he didn't think, "hey, I'll get a connecting flight in San Francisco and at least express my condolences to the family".karen lotz;1373416 wrote:people are hanging on to that quote way too much, probably because that ESPN had it running on the bottom line for a day. that was one part of a longer quote in which he said why he didn't visit or couldn't visit.

MANTI TE'O: It never really crossed my mind. I don't know. I was in school. I was finishing up my year and I was going home. It was towards the end of my junior year. End of my junior year, and I was about to go home. When I decided to go home, the day that I decided to -- the day I left to go home -- they called me and said that that was the same day that they were going to pull the plug. And so it intensifies the whole thing. I'm on the plane. I figured they're about to pull the plug on someone.
Best post in this thread because it introduced me to the adult actress C.J. Miles who's far better at her job than the C.J. Miles who plays for the Cavs.Fab1b;1373081 wrote:4 Redskins were targeted for "catfishing" and 28 pros followed the same fake chick. Can't guys get real *****?
