For some on the OC (Philistine) the appreciation of Art may be difficult to comprehend so please reframe from brash comments. </SPAN>
:D

I have six signed / limited addition of Robert K. Abbett paintings </SPAN>

Robert Abbett is one of America's contemporary art masters in the genre of outdoor art and he is most at home painting the scenes of sporting dogs, flyfishing, western life and portraits for which he is so well known. </SPAN>

We have some other Art pieces we purchase at the Ann Arbor Art Festival many years ago. </SPAN>

That’s right a fan of world of Art, Broadway/Theater, History and Art Museums, Gourmet food and Gun Shows </SPAN>

Anyone on the OC have some signed/limited and or original works of Art that you are most proud of and enjoy the artist works? </SPAN>

I love looking at old maps from around the world and seeing how each area perceived the world to be.

I live right next to Don Drumm studios. Every once in a while they will shut down the street and have a festival. Certainly brings out some characters.

My Dad used to have a slew of Thomas Kinkade paintings, some of which were originals. The day Kinkade died due to liver failure was one of the best days of my Dad's life. He cashed in big time on couple of them. Tom wasn't even cold before my Dad was on the phone with an art studio in Gatlinburg, which is one of the nation's biggest Kindkade sellers.

A lot of people do not like Kinkade's painting style, claiming it was "too commercialized" and "overly sentimental," but I myself love the winter scenes my Dad would always hang in our home at Christmas of Kinkade's depictions of snow-covered Victorian villages.

Maybe I am a Philistine but I don't understand why something has value because a certain person painted it. It either looks good or it doesn't. I like stuff at starving artist sales just as much as the shit in the louvre. (except the sculptures, those are bad ass. I can't imagine how much time it would take to do that and I always imagine if I were doing it and taking off the last piece of rock that I would crack the whole damn thing in two.)
