Now that the sample size has increased I think it is high time there be a thread where we prognosticate which teams are bound for Atlanta this April.

Louisville
Florida
Duke (pending Kelly's return by mid-February) if no return Indiana
Arizona

Arizona
Florida (after getting so close to returning the past couple of seasons, I like Florida to get back this year)
Duke (with Kelly and Curry ... without Kelly and Curry, Duke out first or second round)
Butler (depends on the severity of Rotnei Clarke's injury)

Duke-Arizona in a rematch of the 2001 national title game

If Duke is eliminated from my above picks due to Kelly's and Curry's absence, I like Butler to finally win it all. Might seem presumptuous, but I wouldn't ever count out Brad Stevens.

That would be an awesome Final Four.

Duke-Kansas and Butler-Indiana would be dream matchups for the Final Four. Battle of the Blue Bloods and a Hoosier State championship and rematch. Awesome.

Just looked at Lunardis last bracket. If Ohio State would actually have that region I would be beyond pissed. Butler/Duke/Indiana would be insane.

With Indianapolis being the Midwest host city. UofM and IU are pretty strong candidates to be there. Plus Butler as a mid range seed. I would try to get sent away from home this season lol.

I'm going to stick with my preseason picks.

Indiana
Louisville
Syracuse
Memphis

Memphis has lost to the only 3 good teams they've played and will be lucky to land a top 6 seed, but whatever. I don't have confidence in anyone outside of IU.

Good pick. Haha after repping Temple hard the past month as a dark horse Final Four team, I completely neglected to even think about them. I would like to change my original selection from Duke to Temple.

Duke is now out of the running. Sources, albeit yet unconfirmed by the program, saying Ryan Kelly is done and will likely opt for surgery. If true, the Blue Devils are now out of the running for the Final Four.

I dont know if I am surprised or not by the amount of Butler love right now. I love Stevens, as we all know. But I dont know if they have it this year. Clarkes return will be a huge telling point. But a loss this week to the Zags without him seems inevitable. And as we all know, a loss for a mid-major can hurt seeding.

...then again, they have a win over IU which will trump almost any non power conference win, so who knows.

Indiana- I think the Hoosiers offense and defense are the most balanced among the top teams. Victor Oladipo can be a game changer.

Kansas- Senior leadership, good size, and a blossoming STAR.

duke- Will get a the most favorable draw. Plumlee has the size and the ability to dominate inside and Curry can be lethal behind the arc.

Gonzaga- The Zags have an emerging big man in Kelly Olynyk.Elias Harris is a skilled frontcourt player and Kevin Pangos is shooting 42% behind the arc.
