Senior WR Tommy Kimbrough was shot not even an hour ago. His condition is unknown at this time. Please lift him and his family up in prayer.
Thanks in advance.

Hopefully this will be a wakeup call for him. Kids are saying it was a drug deal gone bad. Sad.

Long past time (for all of us) to start owning up, and high time you start getting your city back; the weaknesses and the excuses are devouring you. Sorry for the tough post, but you have good kids and they need to stay good.

I knew that before the news reported it I figured I would let it go til it was reported.
Quaker, honestly it's a very very small percentage of kids in the city. As you can see this didnt actually occur in Struthers, but I agree. We cannot let our city turn into another Campbell/youngstown, I don't believe it will though. Hopefully this young man can reevaluate his life and get it back on track.

Man even in a situation like this you feel the need to be a a-hole and cheap shot.Spread All Day;1364406 wrote:I knew that before the news reported it I figured I would let it go til it was reported.

You're *
That wasn't a shot actually, but we both know what has happened to your community. A lot of good people there still but it's getting bad.. And if you disagree you're wrong.
Every town has it's trash, I know I'm certainly not. I know I'm college educated. Are you?
Don't worry you've shown your true colors, even with the "trashy" Brookfield people you talked down on.
Tool
STOP TRYING TO THINK YOU'RE NOT AS BAD AS YOUNGSTOWN! Lmao

Tommy Kimbrough, 18, was shot while making a “drug transaction” about 6 p.m. near Midlothian Boulevard and Zedaker Street. Police said he was in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Will he be playing basketball when he recovers?

Actually I've worked in both school districts and only someone that has never stepped foot in a ytown school would say Campbell is just as bad. It's an uninformed statement. Bottom line. No district in the tri county area is even close to ytown. Your talking complete chaos. Riots of 100 kids multiple times a year. You don't know what you're talking about. Spread I hear Campbell people say the same thing and I laugh. Think Lean On Me. Campbell is no where close. Campbell has a lot of probs a lot more than struthers but to say its the same as ytown is completely unfounded and baseless. It's an obvious assumption because you've never been in either district day in and day out. Bottom line kids in Poland smoke weed, some kids are just dumb enough to get busted. Happens everywhere

This thread is titled "Prayers Needed For Struthers." Let's not turn this into a war of words between our area communities, ALL of which are infested to some extent with drug activity. Drugs are everywhere. No city is immune to them. The young man is fortunate to be alive from what I have heard thanks to a quick response by area paramedics. I hope he makes a full recovery and he now understands how dangerous being involved in drug activity can be.

My initial post was not a shot at you guys I promise. I know a lot of good people from Campbell. I just am aware of the environment that some of citizens of Campbell live in.

...good post Big Dean and spot on accurate. This is a problem that hits all communities across the country & the sooner these kids wake up to the fact that there is no easy way in this world & that it's done with hard work & education, the better off all of us will be in this world.BigDean1;1365121 wrote:This thread is titled "Prayers Needed For Struthers."
